First TWINKLE survey

The first TWINKLE field survey already took place in April/May 2024. After a long windy period, the R/F PHILIA was able to cruise in the Cretan and Ionian Seas. Acoustic data were recorded to study fish behaviour and distribution, fish and plankton samples were collected to analyze species composition, water samples were filtered to collect eDNA, and CTDs were deployed to inspect the oceanographic conditions.
