As part of the preparatory phase of TWINKLE, and using data from previous projects, a contribution to the GFCM FishForum 2024 was prepared and presented as a poster in Antalya, Türkiye. The study explores mesopelagic fish communities in different Greek gulfs and open seas, highlights the effect of topography and environmental factors and stresses the need to focus on the local scale.
